Syringa Networks Partners With unicomconnect to Provide Communication Integration in Idaho and Utah

Friday, October 09, 2009

BOISE, ID, OCTOBER 12th, 2009—Syringa Networks, provider of high-speed fiber optic telecommunications services, today announced a partnership with Wyoming based unicomconnect™ to deliver a communication interoperability system throughout a majority of Idaho and Utah.

unicomconnect provides a simple and secure solution that helps businesses and government agencies address the complexities of interoperable communications by connecting any radio, regardless of make, model, manufacturer or frequency, to any Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) or Cellular network device—all without any upgrade or additional  equipment. It also provides preparedness plans uniquely adapted for clients’ everyday and emergency usage service.

This partnership allows Syringa Networks to offer a Software-as-a-Service solution from unicomconnect to agencies throughout Idaho and Utah, helping to improve the regions ability to bring first responders together regardless of their existing communication systems compatibility issues.

Greg Lowe, CEO and President of Syringa Networks said, “The unique terrain and remoteness of our region makes a service like this even more critical for first responders and supporting agencies. Beyond the technological benefits this service brings, it also saves agencies from making costly purchases and upgrades to achieve interoperability. We are excited to provide a service that has such an immediate impact on our communities and their safety.”

“We view Syringa Networks as an ideal partner for delivering our service in the private and public sector markets. Their regional fiber network provides the level of reliability and redundancy that goes hand in hand with a communication system such as ours. Cross department services and first responder agencies will naturally look for a proven service provider like Syringa Networks”, added Michael Beaton, CEO of unicommconnect.

Syringa Networks and unicommconnect are actively engaged with customers and agencies throughout the region to begin delivering services. The solution is available today from Syringa Networks.
